Anma Foot Massage Therapy – 90 Minutes
TRADITIONAL JAPANESE ROOTS
Anma Massage is one of the oldest traditional therapeutic practices in Japan, with a history dating back over 1,500 years. Originally developed by blind practitioners, Anma focuses on channeling energy (Ki), stimulating blood circulation, and relieving muscle tension through precise and rhythmic hand movements. It is the foundation of many modern massage techniques, including Shiatsu. The method embodies a holistic philosophy that harmonizes the body and mind by restoring natural energy flow.
This 90-minute therapy is designed to deeply treat the entire legs from thighs to calves to feet where nerves and muscles closely connect to the body’s circulatory and nervous systems.
By combining four traditional techniques: Stroking, Rubbing, Kneading and Pressing – the therapy helps warm up the muscles, release tightness, stimulate reflex points, and promote smooth energy and blood flow throughout the legs.
The massage journey deeply targets pressure points and reflex zones throughout the entire legs, activating the body’s natural self-healing ability from the feet upward. The treatment also includes massage for the back, neck–shoulders, head, and arms (including the hands)

MODERN INTEGRATION:
The session also integrates an Air circulation massage therapy machine. This device gently compresses the legs with rhythmic air pressure, enhancing circulation and reducing swelling — especially helpful for poor blood flow, varicose veins, or fatigue caused by long periods of standing or sitting.
